ISI’S SCHOOL SURVIVAL GUIDE

I don´t think nobody has asked me that question before, but I thought about it many times. A few years earlier, when I was more immature, I used to think the fact that if you could travel to the past, you can fix every mistake you made. I don´t think that´s a good idea anymore. You learned from your past enough to be the person that you are right now. Either way, I do still think that travel to the past will be the coolest thing. I wish I could know how many lives I been lived. Am I a woman in all of them? How many places I know really? I enojoyed living in all of them? Was I being queen of some place? Was I a millionaire? And the most important, Was I a good person in all of them? Or Was I the kind of person that everybody dislikes?  So many questions about myself, Isn´t it? But I don´t think that´s the end. In case you think I’m studying just for fun, well I’m not. I hope that my career gives me a good economic situation to live well. I´m not specially ambitious about it, but if comes abundantly it´s even better. In any case, that’s not the most important part. I’m gonna be an architect in a few years (even though it seems like an eternity). My main expectations includes creative things, enjoying work with hands, propose innovative things and has a good team to build occupiable spaces. For doing all those things, plus the knowledge of the area, I need to develop through experience making assignments, which I do here in the university. I don´t  really had investigated about all the available majors, maybe I would like to take something related to urbanism, but there are other areas that I like about being architect too. To be honest, I consider myself as a lucky girl. I know, maybe it sounds better to have travelled to other countries, but I just really love the diversity of Chile landscapes. I don´t like to focus on bad things, like the fact that the only country else that I know is Argentina, and I visited on my study tour.  The really best travel that I had was in the last year winter. I went with my dad to the Austral Highway. In fact, we don´t usually agree on many things, but If I have to give him the credit for something, is his effort to make me happy, and I really really enjoy travel, and we have a lot of stories about it, but this is the best.  I recognize that trip specifically was stressful at previous weeks, because I had to be in charge of so many procedures, like the exams of covid and even buy the plane tickets, but I was really enthusiastic to know that place, and I ended making a whole itinerary, with the most iconic places to visit and which one of them we should knew firs...

Switzerland is probably the most beautiful place out of Chile that I know. It´s true that this country has a lot of diversity of landscapes, but If I have to choose, without a doubt I would live in Swiss.  Actually, a few years earlier, I couldn´t really explain my obsession with that country, but after all the researching, finally I can say where it came from my fascination for Switzerland. At first, all I know was about the Swiss Alps, and I really in love with them, but later, I also discovered that is a very sustainable country, and their streets had found the perfect balance between the rivers or lakes, and the urbanism raising. Instead Instagram, is a social media that I use everyday, and following profiles like this I can discover new proyects while I´m surfing the internet.  This page in particular shows you a diversity of buildings of the world, including classic ones who have prizes and global knowledge, and contemporaries (my favorites) who are based on innovation and brilliant ways to imagine architecture.
